Visit to the Lycée Français de Shanghai

During the princely mission in China, Lieselot visited Lycée Français de Shanghai. Lycée Français de Shanghai is an international school in Shanghai that is supported by, among others, Foreign Affairs in France. They work according to the AEFE programme = Agence pour l’enseignement Français à l’étranger. This is a public agency under the administration of Foreign Affairs in France that guarantees the quality of schools teaching the French national curriculum outside France.

The school has 1,600 children of 47 different nationalities. As they offer a French-language curriculum, Belgians are very interested in China. They have 50 Belgian students in their school and are looking for a structural solution to offer Dutch lessons. D-Teach can offer a good solution for the school to keep these youngsters in touch with their mother tongue Dutch.

This meeting was an ideal time to get to know each other and to make agreements for further cooperation.
