Visit to Royal Beijing School in China

During the princely mission in China, Lieselot visited the Royal Beijing School in China. The school uses satellite technology and mobile technology to provide distance learning to other schools in remote areas or to schools that have a certain shortage of teachers. They have a dedicated ‘distance learning’ room and employ online teachers. The attached picture shows an example of how things are going. An online teacher teaches in his class (without students) to a group of young people in another school where there is no teacher but a supervisor. In the other school there is no teacher of English and in this way the children are taught English. The Royal Beijing School was particularly interested in the online training of the online teachers at D-Teach. It is being investigated whether further cooperation with D-Teach is possible in the future.
